RESUMO:

The demand for renewable energy resources has led to an increase in research by biofuels obtained from vegetable oils. In this context, vegetable oils which are not used for foodstuffs, such as Macaúba oil, have shown promising. For the obtaining of renewable hydrocarbons from the Macaúba, fast pyrolysis can be used, which in turn produces oxygenated compounds, leading to the search for catalysts that allow the conversion of these compounds into hydrocarbons. Thus, in the present work, the synthesis of the catalyst AlSBA-15 and the posterior impregnation with molybdenum was carried out. The characterization of catalysts has performed The supports and catalysts were characterized by different techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermal analysis (TGA/DTGA), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results of the characterizations were similar to those found in the literature, allowing the conclusion that the synthesis and the impregnation took place in a satisfactory manner. It was carried out the analysis of TGA-FTIR of the macaúba oil with and without the presence of the catalyst that brings the products obtained in pyrolysis by the characterization of spectroscopy in the infrared region by Fourier transformed and by the thermal degradation of the oil of Macaúba, allowing a better understanding of pyrolysis results. The results obtained through TGA-FTIR allowed concluding that the AlSBA-15 catalyst impregnated with molybdenum resulted in the deoxygenating of Macaúba oil with the consequent production of hydrocarbons.
