RESUMO:

Software quality has become a key factor in the process of software development today. Achieving measurable quality of various types of tests today becomes a major challenge to be achieved in the industry. The research carried out in this study considered the evaluation of the effectiveness of system tests performed by MOPA Embedded Systems in the use of the Ginga middleware for Digital TV for a set of compliance tests. It has been proposed an adapted process of evaluation of effectiveness based on techniques of code coverage and mutant testing. The expected result is that we can evaluate the effectiveness of a system test suite in a satisfying way with the proposed process.
