Analysis of the level of financial literacy and its possible influences: study in a public agency.

This research aims to investigate whether the military at the Air Base of Natal are financially literate, as well as to verify whether there is a relationship between financial literacy and the aspects of gender, age, marital status, number of children and the survivors' level of education. For this purpose, a mutant will be applied to be answered intentionally and anonymously. The data, collected by survey research, will be investigated quantitatively in a multivariate statistical analysis. The instrument will be divided into two parts, the first one consisting of questions related to the sociodemographic profiles of respondents and the second, fragmented into three blocks, will aim to assess financial literacy through three factors: financial knowledge, financial behavior and attitude financial. It is estimated to find results like studies carried out previously. To contribute to the literature, two more questions were included, motivated by self-assessment and means of learning about financial knowledge.
