RESUMO:

Small Enterprises have a high socioeconomic importance in the world and Brazilian scenario, due to their generation of employment and income for the population. In addition, given the intense globalization and global development, these companies have also been relevant in the innovative process of the countries. In Brazil, over the last decades, several policies, actions, laws and entities have been developed in the promotion of these companies and their innovation. This dissertation aims to analyze the real focus of the program to support innovation in Brazilian Small Enterprises of SEBRAE, Innovative Local Agent Program, through an econometric evaluation using the regression method. Thus, this work carries out a managerial analysis of the Program through the measurement of the Program effects in the Brazilian companies of the State of Rio Grande do Norte.
