RESUMO:

The purpose of this thesis is to verify if the use of the visual management model Life Cycle Canvas (LCC^®) promotes the engagement of project teams in light of the Job Demands-Resources Theory (JD-R Theory). For this purpose, the Structural Equation Modeling will be used in association with JD-R Theory as a theoretical and methodological support for such an analysis. According to JD-R, job demands are the main predictors of problems such as burnout and psychosomatic health problems. On the other hand, personal and job resources in general are the most important predictors of satisfaction, motivation, and job engagement (Bakker & Demerouti, 2014). Considering that the project team has high demands, work under pressure, manage conflicts, deal with high levels of stress and rely on several resources to achieve success, this paper seeks to debate the thesis that the benefits provided by the use of the LCC for project management contributes to the promotion of personal and job resources which, therefore, promotes team engagement in the project.
