RESUMO:

The development of actions aimed at the improvement of organizational capacities, as well as the identification of opportunities in the market are not trivial tasks for the entrepreneurs, but are considered essential for the organizational performance, since the entrepreneurial skills of the entrepreneurs guide the actions to be Developed in the organization. From the systematic review of the literature, it was verified that there are no studies seeking to analyze the axes of ambidestria from the entrepreneurial skills. In this sense, this thesis aims to analyze the opportunity and organizational skills existing in entrepreneurs of technology-based incubators and how these competencies direct their actions for exploration and exploitation. It is a descriptive study that used the post-positivist approach as a worldview, where, based on a semi-structured interview script, the actions of the eight entrepreneurs interviewed were analyzed by a qualitative approach. For the data analysis process, we used Categorical Content Analysis made line by line, so that the interviews were coded and categorized, as well as the creation of figures, tree maps and word clouds with the support of the NVivo® software  version 11. This research used quality criteria for its development, to quote triangulation, multiple-case sampling and within-case sampling, detail of the research process, peer-reviewed and reflexivity. The main results of the research were the concentration of the actions aimed at identifying opportunities in the competence of opportunity and in the organizational competence, the actions focused on control, delegation, leadership and motivation stand out. In the ambidextrous axes it has been shown that entrepreneurs were more likely to develop actions for exploitation. In this sense, it was observed that there is an alignment between the competences studied and the axes of ambidestria.
