RESUMO:

In the corporate world, competition between organizations has led institutions and companies to maintain a constant level of investment in the training of its staff. The quest for expansion, qualification or even the recycling of existing skills, in order to overcome the challenges posed by demands generated, often arising from new markets, make up the reality of many organizations. Currently, one of the most popular ways for companies to promote the acquisition of skills, or even its evolution, is through the Business University, one of the main tools of Corporate Education This study will seek to understand the role that Corporate Education has the professional development of employees Brazilian Post and Telegraphs - ECT, the Regional Rio Grande do Norte. Therefore, this study is based on the proposal presented by Terra(2001), which suggests seven dimensions that helped to understand and measure the knowledge management applied by the ECT, as well as understanding of the employees participating in training in their companies, through an education model based on the Corporate University. To achieve the proposed objective, empirical research using a qualitative approach will be carried out with a cut cross-time, focused on the identification of the structure, objectives, powers and major education initiatives developed by UNICORREIOS. As for the benefits generated by that institution, the study will have a quantitative approach in order to identify the perception of employees regarding the professional development of the same. The research is descriptive and developed in a case study where closed questionnaires will be applied to students (employees of the post office, crowded in the regional Rio Grande do Norte, who participated in training activities during the year 2015) and semi-structured interviews They will be made with the Managers (connected directly to University Post Office) and facilitators (people of the administrative and permanent and temporary instructors).
