Technological startups are embedded in highly dynamic environments, marked by uncertainty where traditional predictions of the future for decision-making become too complex, difficult and far from reality. Thus, it is believed that the entrepreneur would be more likely to adopt a predominantly effectual decision logic, against the current paradigm. By doing so he will face the uncertainty by building an environment and set of relationships that, in effect, will trigger future scenarios close to what was originally aspirated. The objective of this study is to analyze how technological incubated startups entrepreneurs experience the logic of strategic decision regarding the effectuation theory and the influence of the incubator in the process. Therefore, a exploratory and descriptive research will be conducted through multiple cases of incubated startups at Inova Metrópole Natal/RN and the content of the speeches in the four semi-structured interviews will be qualitatively analyzed. It will also be applied questionnaires with all incubated startups at Inova Metrópole in order to verify quantitatively through non-parametric statistics, the homogeneous dominance of effectual decision analysis in all of the startups. Some possible results are to clearly identify the categories of effectual logic in the discourse of entrepreneurs on the creation and development of their startups in multiple cases, and the impact of the incubator in this regard. After the understanding of the phenomenon, it will be possible to show its predominance over the casual logic on the other incubated technologicalstartups, showing it to be homogeneous among the startups. Therefore, future studies should reflect on the strategic formulation for technologicalstartups, adjusting to their peculiarities by seeking a more dynamic and effectual approach as a way to best suit the experienced reality and thus enhance the results of these companies.
