SUMMARY:

The electromagnetic frequency regulator (REF) is a versatile machine that can be combined in several energy systems. In the present work, a scheme to use wind energy using the REF is proposed, with emphasis on the modeling of its main components: the horizontal axis wind turbine, a hydrostatic transmission composed of axial radial piston pump and axial piston engines, both with variable displacement, in addition to the REF itself.
