RESUMO:

Abstract: With the significant growth of wind farms around the world and more specifically in Brazil, we see the greatest need regarding the maintenance of these wind turbines.The turbine manufacturers, which currently are the maintainers of the same, do not have reliability analysis techniques to mitigate defects. Such defects can be accompanied by various consequences, tangible and intangible. In this scenario, it is necessary to conduct a thorough analysis on the components that represent higher failure rate associated with loss of financial income for the lack of power generation when certain components have failed.The proposed work is to develop through historical of a wind power plant data, the identification of all the sectors of a wind turbine, the item representing the highest incidence of defects associated with the loss of interest income. When selecting the component, a reliability analysis with Weibull distribution will be applied, aimed at minimizing total maintenance costs, directly associated with the loss of profits by identifying the best range of preventive maintenance. As a product of this work, we will have at hand the best preventive maintenance intervals, associated with a reliability rate and the expected savings after application of the method for a period of 15 years of operation.
