RESUMO:

This research aims to investigate teachers' conceptions regarding human formation from the
music classes in the Music in the Outskirts extension project UFRN in the city of Natal.
Through bibliographic review we seek to understand the conceptualization of human
formation, especially directed to music lessons and thus build a dialogical path seeking to
analyze this thin line of social projects and social and human interaction. This is a qualitative
research, in which I use the case study method, in which it is possible to identify specificities
in the field of investigation that may generate discoveries within the approached theme
ranging from the particular to the general. As a methodological procedure, I use the semi-
structured interview, seeking to analyze and substantiate the relationships of musical
practices with educational, social and human interactions. Thus, I present here part of the
reasoning, which is being finalized through a bibliographic survey on the themes of human
formation and social project, as well as characterization of the research object, methodology
and brief analysis of data with which I investigate. according to the context of social project,
theoretical, practical and social knowledge.
