RESUMO:

This dissertation is a study about the integration of natural strategies in learning and teaching music (ethno pedagogy)  for musical training development.  The goal of the research, which took place in the Postgraduation Music Program at Federal  University of Rio Grande do Norte, was to investigate the implementation of didactics resources in  the training development of Mbira Nyunganyunga, an african musical traditional instrument, using basis of ethno pedagogies processes which highlights its musical practices in a workshop that involve graduation students from EMUFRN.The methodological procedure was the integral action research, in which, contain three steps: didactic material production (bibliography research, exploratory  research an retrospection),  application of a diagnostic questionnaire to select the participants (workshop planning), participative observation and semi-structured interviews (material didactic analysis)  for four graduation students. The work points to possible developments in the field of music education as a practical example of the application and functionality of natural strategies in musical training development for traditional musical instruments.
