RESUMO:

This work is a study of the technical and interpretative aspects of the work "Three Toccatas Armoriais," the composer Danilo Guanais. The "Three Toccatas Armoriais" is a work for solo guitar divided into three movements, The Ox Romance hand of Pau, Poem Black and The Brave Flying Mysterious Peacock, built according Guanais under an updated design of Armorial Music. Aiming to understand what would be this "modern version of Armorial Music," as the composer, we tried to present a contextualization of Armorial Music since its initial production, with the dawn, to production by current composers who wrote a version that uses elements and procedures of contemporary music. Present also a brief discussion of the concept of dichotomy established by Ariano Suassuna and Cussy de Almeida and the contribution generated by this duality of thought, for Armorial Music. Were used in the interview methodology with the composer, analysis and study of the work as well as theoretical as Marino (2010), Queiroz (2014), among many others. As a result we present information on the philosophical elements that characterize the work "Three Toccatas Armoriais" as a work, too, armorial, and also clarified that issue through the use of twine, as engendradora source in the construction work, material analysis melodic, and the use of the pedal note feature armorial music used in the work Poem Black, among other elements.
