SUMMARY:

The National Health Promotion Policy has as its central objective to promote the quality of life and reduce vulnerabilities and health risks associated with the determinants and conditions of the ways of living. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the primary health care workers built understandings and adopted health promotion actions in line with what they had and the accumulated knowledge. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the Health Promotion strategies used to face Covid-19 in Primary Health Care (PHC) in the city of Pombal/PB. The study configures an action-research, supported by a qualitative approach, and a descriptive perspective in relation to the achievement of objectives. The research subjects will be selected for convenience, being professionals with university education and high school education, acting at the Family Health Strategy (FHS), inserted in the 12 teams that belongs to the PHC of the city. Data collection will be done through 05 different techniques and steps. We will use Bardin's content analysis technique to process the data obtained. Among the expected results, we want to encourage the participation of professionals in the development of health promotion actions; strengthen the interprofessional and collaborative perspective; develop an explanatory matrix of the aspects that hinder and enhance health promotion actions; build a Reference Framework with a Typology of Health Promotion Actions.
