SUMMARY:

The following Intervention Project aims to raise awareness among professionals about the importance of developmental surveillance in Children's Health in order to identify early situations that require specialized intervention, as is the case with ASD. Objective: Understand the assistance provided by PHC teams that carry out Surveillance of child development from the perspective of early identification of children with ASD characteristics. Method: Qualitative approach study, based on Thiollent's theoretical framework following the four steps: explanatory, main, action and evaluation. The research will be in the town of Jucurutu/RN, which has an estimated population of 18,295 thousand inhabitants and 09 ESF linked, being 04 in the countryside. Research participants will be nurses and doctors linked to the teams. After explanation and signing of the TCLE, the professionals will respond to a half-structured interview, and after that, a training will be held for professionals with a presentation about the theme and the new care flow, and finally there will be an evaluation process with the execution of an interactive workshop to assess the contributions of the training carried out on the previous stage. Result: Qualification in professional practice, improving assistance in Children's Health, providing comprehensive care and improving the quality of life for users are some of the benefits that the research will provide to the participants of it.
