RESUMO:

The objective of this study was to identify the perception of the teams of Primary Health Care (PHC) about violence against children in the family context, in a municipality in northeastern Brazil. Exploratory and descriptive research, with quantitative and qualitative approach. It was developed in two moments: interview with semi-structured questionnaire, followed by 01 focus group in 01 unit in care reference. For the processing of quantitative data, we used the Microsoft Excel program, version 2013. For qualitative data, content analysis, according to Bardin and the principles of Symbolic Interactionism by Herbet Blummer. The results revealed a predominance of negligent violence with 33% and psychological violence, 31.4%. Most professionals, 75.7%, have never participated in training courses on Care Line. There is appreciation in referring situations of violence to specialized services, when 45.7% of participants reported these services are partially started and PHC units, with 81.4%, not started. The perception of these teams reveals the need to aggregate competences and attitudes towards the construction of public practices / policies to articulate the psychosocial network and care shared management. Therefore, it aims to promote a dialogue between the various actors involved with the theme of violence in childhood, still invisible in care practices.
