RESUMO:

The Worldwide aging and recommendations about social structure facilities which  provide an active aging, brings concerns about  access to health services in primary care. This article aims to understand how the elderly evaluate the access to family health strategy service in a Brazilian capital through the economic, social, organizational and political dimensions. The approach is qualitative, using the focus group technique with the participation of 18 elderly. In data investigation we used content analysis method recommended by Minayo. The studied group considered positively the units geographical location, bond between professionals and users, reception and humanization. The dissatisfaction was about ambience, unit structure, participation and regulation.  Regarding the evaluation of service quality, the opinions were diverse, with part of the group satisfied and another dissatisfied.
