RESUMO:

This project has the general objective of analyzing the home visit in the Family Health Strategy carried out for the elderly, in view of the gradual increase in the number of elderly people, according to IBGE (2010), in 2050 will reach 66.5 million, three times the current number. Given this, we have the home visit (VD), according to Cunha and Gama (2012), is an instrument of health care that makes it possible to know the reality of the individual and family, being configured as a necessary tool for care. As a methodological course, we will have a qualitative research, which will be carried out in three Basic Units of Family Health (UBS) in the municipality of Apodi, with all the professionals of the selected Family Health Teams. For the collection of data, semi-structured interviews will be carried out, non-participant observation to some visits to the elderly and direct observation of printed documents and documents used in the VD. It is expected that data collection will be conducted from November 2018 to January 2019. Each participant will sign an informed consent form (TCLE), informing the risks and benefits of the research.
