In Brazil, the use and development of health instruments and technologies to guarantee access to health as a right for all, as well as the resolubility of the different and complex demands observed in the territories represent a key point for the development of SUS in its fundamental principles In the different Brazilian regions. the singular therapeutic project (STP) is a practice that is currently not yet incorporated into the routine of most health care teams in primary health attention and is still less widespread and developed, despite its great potential in the production of new realities, especially with regard to complex cases. Because of this, studies are justified in order to shed light on the realities of the teams in relation to the use of STP as a health care management tool within the Famlily Health Strategy. In this sense, the present work deals with an exploratory qualitative research that sought to investigate how a team of the ESF and a Nucleus of Support of Family Health (NASF) team that supports it use the STP in its territory, with specific objectives: to know the meanings attributed by the professionals (of the teams NASF and ESF) to the notions of Expanded Clinic, Matrix Support and Singular Therapeutic Project; Identify how teams communicate and link each other for the construction of the STP and the realization of matrix support; and identify the potentialities and difficulties experienced by the teams for the use of STP as a care management tool. For this, the methodological approach was developed through semi-structured individual interviews and focus groups with the professionals of the teams of a small city of the RN. The data produced by the interviews and the focus groups were organized and categorized through the content analysis proposed by Bardin. The three axes of analysis were: 1) The multiprofessionality, co-responsibility and resoluteness; 2) conceptions of PTS, difficulties, lack of experience and lack of knowledge about STP; and 3) Articulation and planning of actions. In general, the study pointed out that the construction of STP as a punctual practice, being a tool that does not make up the daily life of health teams and services in primary health, although it is recognized as important for the expansion of actions and resolution of the problems of the users. In addition, the STP, besides not being a tool of daily use, it is unknown to many and the teams are lacking experiences that potentiate their use in a systematic and shared way in the spaces of production of health care. In this way, it is important that actions of qualification of the atention be developed together with the teams for the use of STP among other tools for management of care in an integral and shared way.
