RESUMO:

Health reform, established in Brazil since 1988, has as one of the basic principles of the Unified Health System - SUS full health care. One of the structural policies for this comprehensive care is the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices-PICs, launched since 2006, which incorporates the device as Extended Clinica within Primary Care. The Municipality of Nísia Forest, situated in the wild Rio Grande do Norte, is in the process of implementing a Municipal Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health - PMPIC. This study is a qualitative research of the type Action Research analytical nature etnofenomenológico with social poetic approach, which aims to describe and analyze the implementation process of PMPIC / Nísia Forest-RN, the light of the senses and meanings pointed out by the Strategy professionals Family Health over a self-assessment workshop Humanopoiético Integrative.
