Thus, taking into account that the search for such SDGs prevails as a global goal in favor of a better planet for present and future generations, the elements and practices on geodiversity arise, as well as the geoparks as a relevant factor for achieving the 2030 agenda. The study developed is of interpretativist nature, being an exploratory research with qualitative approach, and case study as delineation from the GS, aided with a case of a tour itinerary of a sustainable tourism company. For data collection, semi-structured interviews, document analysis, collection of lines from interviews on the internet, and bibliographic research were carried out. Thus, local actors related to the tourist activity in the studied territory were interviewed, as well as a representative of the geopark's management and tourists. For the data treatment the content analysis technique was used for the analysis of the documents and interviews. As results of the study was identified several practices, actions and educational activities that are carried out in order to conserve and preserve the geological heritage of the GS through education and tourism: such as lectures for public and private school students, training of junior guides, macro project, workshops, protection of geosites, wooden structures for tourist access, municipal laws, conceptual maps, mascots, technological applications, courses, training for guides, environmental education signs, educational trails, events, geoproducts, women's association, guides aimed at raising tourist awareness, and partnerships with tourism companies. It was found that these are sustainable practices and actions that aim to involve the community in the sense of belonging to the GS, where tourism is related, as well as those practices that insert the community directly with the tourist activity. It was evidenced that the relationship of local actors with tourism is based on environmental education in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the GS territory from the tourist experiences with geoproducts, mainly, as well as community participation is evaluated as important, since sustainability is the guiding factor for income generation aided by tourism, above all, the sustainable practices and actions are part of a territorial management that involves the community in a bottom-up participation, this said, it contributes to the tourism activity of GS to be guided by the human development of tourists who experience what the territory offers, helping in new learning and behavior change.
