RESUMO:

With the emergence of information and communication technologies (ICTs) there have been many changes in interpersonal and business relationships around the world, which has favored companies to maintain more intense relationships with their suppliers and customers. ICTs have provided new avenues for relationships between tourism distribution channels, leading to increases in competitiveness, industry efficiency, and improved business performance. In this perspective, the present work consists in adapting a structural model to investigate the relationships between the variables capable of influencing the organizational performance of travel agencies from the relationships intensified by information and communication technologies. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, it will be developed a hypothetical-deductive exploratory research, descriptive, with a quantitative treatment. The method chosen to capture the data will be questionnaires with employees and managers of travel agencies affiliated with ABAV. The data obtained will be treated by descriptive and inferential statistics, with the help of SPSS and the AMOS package, version 22.0. A pilot test was conducted to evaluate the questionnaire patterns, where 87 online questionnaires were applied using the Google Forms platform, distributed by the researcher through email and whatsapp. From the preliminary results, it is possible to confirm satisfactory adjustment indices and factor loadings for the proposed structural model, indicating the tendency that tourism intermediaries should intensify their relations with these suppliers, tour operators and customers, whose strategies allow greater effectiveness in terms of efficiency the entire value chain.
