RESUMO:

This Master thesis entitled "Upcycling How Creative Perspective In Costumes Of Cruor Contemporary Art", travels on an investigation into the creative process that is developed with the costumes of stage productions coalition Cruor Contemporary Art. For this purpose a dialogue with the concept of Upcycling brought by Alison Gwilt, which technique has been adopted as a creative approach as regards the construction of costumes. Bringing main aesthetic references guiding the dialogue between the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, by Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, multiple French artist Antonin Artaud and the Brazilian artist Arthur Bispo do Rosário and how these references dialogue with fashion and the construction of costumes for the scene. Because it is a study that involves my own practice as an artist, costume designer, bring as methodological support action research from David Tripp, among others, emphasizing the issue of interaction between the subject and his research object, and in view of this relationship, before this my action as an artist-researcher method adopting as the logbook, in addition to the photographic record and video, and typical techniques of the fashion area / wardrobe as moulage and sketch. The writing for this moment qualifying is prepared following the introduction to my approach to my subject of study linked to the dialogue between fashion and costume design from the perspectives of Fayga Ostrower, Adriana Milk and Lisette War, and Stanislavsky and Lipovetsky, between other authors. Then appears the object of research that develops from Cruor Contemporary Art with the methodological path being traversed. Finally, the last fact chapters the issues facing the context of the creation process of the costumes with the Creation Laboratory, Execution and Costumes Maintenance for the scene and Upcycling concept approach as a creative practice that tends to provoke reflection on the practice costume designer.
