This work has the main objective investigate the clowns of work in hospital settings, considering their experiences, from the preparation to the tessitura of scenic meetings, triggered by the presence of these beings within the hospital daily. In this context, considered intrinsic inseparability of an opening state of clowns for the encounter with other human beings who share this particular area of action. This openness requires a technical and sensitive development that provides these beings the necessary material for the scenic meeting. Thus, dialoguing with a phenomenological methodology, inspired by Merleau-Ponty (2006; 2007; 2011), in addition to value an experiential perspective in the dialogue on the phenomenon investigated, also perform a literature search on the clowns acting, conducted over its millennia of history to the hospital stage.
