SUMMARY:

In this thesis project, we aim to analyze the public fund category based on Brazilian Social Service literature. We start from the following problem: the literature produced by this area of knowledge about the public fund has focused on specifying its place in the current frameworks of capitalism, reaching the same conclusion that this place is structural and structuring. However, they refer to several and even divergent variants: the exploitation of the workforce in the production process (whose basis is rooted in the ontological categories of the Marxist critique of political economy); to new forms of exploitation - “tax exploitation” and “contemporary expropriation” -, as well as the contradictory relationships that the public fund form assumes with the commodity form. In this sense, therefore, we propose, as a general objective, to analyze the public fund category based on the theoretical production of Brazilian Social Service. In this direction, we have specific objectives: to understand the origin of the use of the public fund category as a theoretical category; map the use of the public fund category by Brazilian Social Services; and deepen the main theoretical analyzes on the public fund referenced in this area of knowledge. Thus, seeking to achieve these objectives, we will use, from a procedural-methodological point of view, a study of an essentially theoretical nature, subsidized by bibliographical research.
