SUMMARY:

Thesis Project presented to the Post-Graduation Program in Social Work at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), for qualification purposes. Our object of research is the offer of social work graduation courses by educational conglomerates. The course offering in this field constitutes a phenomenon in ascending expansion and inserts itself in the privatisation and embodiment process of social politics on the financialization dynamics of the capital. As a main object, we have to analyse the offer of social work graduation courses by educational groups in the Northeast region and the implications on professional education and with specific objectives: to learn the political and economic determinations wich boosted the setting of educational groups in the country; to map the social work graduation courses offered by controlled IES by educational groups in the northeast; get to know the organization and social direction of thoses reffered courses and groups; analyse the settings and challenges in the professional education in the Northeast. We begin from the assumption that the course offering aforementioned by educational groups pressures new settings in the academic education and indicates the bias into adequacy of the courses to the interests of the referred groups and its shareholders and to develop a professional by the vision of the company's current position. As of the metodological percourse, we assume the Marx’s analysis method from wich, through a qualitative and quantitative approach, we dedicate to learn the general determinations and linkages between the object of research and the social totality. We aim to realize a bibliographic and documental research, with the intention of tracing the historical ground for analyzing the processuality of the phenomena concerning the object. Our research universe are the educational conglomerates with publicly traded capital in the national and international stock market. Our sample is composed of publicly traded groups on the B3 that offer the referred courses in the Northeast region. After mapping, the data will be tabulated and categorized for analysis, which will executed based on the theoretical reference selected in the bibliographical research, with the contribution of software destined for data organization.
