RESUMO:

The conjuncture is permeated by the advance of conservatism, regression of rights, counter-reformations of the state, increased violence and intensification of exploitation / oppression to which the working class is subjected in all its diversity, especially with regard to women. blacks and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite and transgender (LGBT) population. The historical period of structural crisis of capital already imposes immense challenges in their lives. However, the moment is also for the advancement of an extremely conservative right from the economic and moral point of view, with strong fascist and violent features, having as one example the election of Jair Messias Bolsonaro (PSL) to president of Brazil in 2018. In the same context, the data indicate that the country is the one that most kills the world's LGBT population, even ahead of countries where homosexuality is officially prohibited and punished with the death penalty. In addition, they report a significant increase in this violence in recent years. If we consider its regional distribution, for decades, the Northeast led the rates of violent deaths against this population, falling positions in the rancking of the most violent regions only in the most recent period. It is also in this region that is located the most dangerous state to be LGBT in the country - Alagoas. Thus, in view of the elements presented, our objective in this paper is to analyze how violence against the LGBT population in northeastern Brazil is expressed, with timeframe from 2011 to 2018, seeking to understand the relationship between determinations of capitalist, heteropatriarchal and racist sociability and this violence in the particularities of this region. To this end, we will conduct a bibliographic and documentary research through the use of authors in the field of historical-dialectical materialism and documents / reports produced by the Gay da Bahia Group, the Disque 100 platform, and the then Ministry of Rights. Humans. We believe that the social and academic contributions of this work are due to the need to produce critical knowledge about the oppression / exploitation process by which the working class is subjected, thus boosting both the organization of this class and its theoretical-critical production. In light of what we consider the method capable of grasping in depth the contradictions of reality - that proposed by Marx.
