RESUMO:

Taking as reference a set of determinations that have as a historical ground the social totality in the framework of Brazilian peripheral capitalism and the dynamics of the objective and subjective experience of the working class, this work seeks to apprehend the implications of the objective and subjective determinations that they printed in the conciliation strategy (2003-2016) of the Workers’ Party's government from Brazil an interdiction of the prospect of implementing social reforms and a radicalization of the conservative forces that culminated in the parliamentary coup that deposed the Workers’ Party of the Presidency of the Brazilian Republic. Analyzed in its historical dynamics and permeated by the contradictions put in reality and by the tensions of the class struggle, the object of study is apprehended through investigation strategies that privilege the bibliographical and documentary research, from which are extracted elements for the analysis of determinants structural and conjunctural determinants that enabled the process of genesis, development and decadence of the Lula and Dilma governments; the investigation of the historical, social and economic bases of the formation of Brazilian society and its articulation with the form of political representation of the contemporary State, highlighting the limits and possibilities that mark a historical anti-reformist tendency in the peripheral nations; the analysis of the actions and social direction assumed by the Workers’ Party's experiences in the materialization of its governmental political project, choosing the adoption of neoliberal monetarist orthodoxy, the relation with the institutionality and the deal with the class struggle and the movements as axes of analysis. Finally, the analysis concretizes, in the wake of the apprehension of the end of this Workers’ Party's government cycle and its historical role in paving the conditions for an offensive directed by the ruling class in a genuine way, the presentation of conclusive suggestions about this experience of class conciliation in the Brazil, highlighting both the interdiction of the possibility of reforms in front of the limits imposed by the adoption of the class pact in the context of structural dependence, and the trajectory of submission of these governmental experiences to the limits of the economic, social and political order as important elements in the discussion about the overcoming obstacles that still pose challenges to the materialization of a socialist strategy of social transformation.
