RESUMO:

This research project deals with the work of the social worker in the Expanded Nuclei of Family Health and Basic Care (NASF AB), considering the recent insertion of the profession in this area of occupational health care. In this sense, intends to analyze, with emphasis the attributions and professional competences, the contributions and answers of the Social Service in the NASF AB. The research is qualitative in nature, whose theoretical reference is based on Marxist dialectical historical materialism. In order to do so, an extensive bibliographical and documentary research, in addition to the participant observation and field research, will be carried out through a semi-structured interview applied to the research subjects - the social workers of the municipal network of Natal (RN) .O This study aims to contribute to the reflection of professional work in the field of basic care, precisely in light of the perspective of matrix support - methodology that guides the work management of NASF AB, emphasizing the relevance of this problem after 10 years of implementation of this organizational arrangement in the Cheers.
