RESUMO:

Expressed in various practices, the violence causes consequences in various dimensions of life, especially in childhood and adolescence, at which time the subjects are in the development process. Thus, the argument presented in this research project focuses on the defensive axis of human rights of children and adolescents and seeks to question the actions of agencies that make up the Rights Guarantee System of Children and Adolescents - DGS, in achieving the confrontation occurrences of violence against this subjects. So our research has the general objective: to analyze how has given confront violence against children and adolescents in Natal (RN), individualising the strategies and mechanisms used by the organs of protection of the Rights Guarantee System in the 2014 period to 2015 in order to identify the limits and possibilities that interfere and / or contribute to the realization of this confrontation in the city. The research is qualitative, with exploratory and will be based on the critical dialectical method. To achieve the objectives we will use a literature review, study and analysis of documentary sources and semi-structured interviews. The empirical reference of the study will be SGD agencies responsible for safeguarding and defense of human rights of children and adolescents in Natal (RN): A Child Protection Council; a Nucleus of Support for Family Health; one Elementary School; one Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance, and the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents. The data collected will be processed and systemized from the content analysis and analyzed in the light of the theoretical and methodological framework of the study. The result of this journey will be the dissertation.
