SUMMARY:

The National Immunization Program (PNI) is known nationally and internationally, due to its reach and the achievements achieved over its 50 years. The Reference Centers for Special Immunobiologicals (CRIE) make up the PNI, making high-tech, high-cost immunobiologicals available to a public that is more prone to disease or at risk of complications. However, many professionals are unaware or do not have adequate knowledge about these centers, failing to guide the population and direct the target audience. The main objective of this work is to build an online educational strategy on special immunobiologicals for health professionals; especially those in Primary Health Care, who, in addition to knowing the reality of the enrolled population, coordinate care within the care network. The specific objectives are to carry out a survey on the need for permanent education for the municipalities served by CRIE HU-UFJF; carry out a bibliographical survey of the Ministry of Health manuals and protocols and create a course on special immunobiologicals for the AVASUS platform. This is an exploratory study with methodological research stages. Through the routine work carried out by CRIE, we send a Google Forms form to municipalities to determine the continuing education needs of professionals. Based on this survey, we prepared the course plan, using official documents from the Ministry of Health associated with our professional practice. The course was structured into 4 asynchronous units: 1- The National Immunization Program, 2- Special Vaccines with Equity: how to access them?, 3- Vaccines available at CRIE, 4- What to do during and after the application of vaccines specials? The next steps are to complete Unit 4 and in the future evaluate and validate the course. With this, we hope, through the dissemination of information, to contribute to professional education in public health and to improving access and equity in the Unified Health System.
