Development of a Data Collection Prototype for E-health Diagnostics (E-Diagnostic) with IoT and Modeling an API for Telemedicine.
IoT; COVID-19; remote patient monitoring; Arduino.
The outbreak caused by the new SARS-COV-2 virus, responsible for COVID-19, has changed the worldwide conception of patient care and monitoring, be it ambulatory or hospital-based. Telemedicine and remote monitoring have become predominant over other applications and have provided several opportunities to collect vital signs in a safe way, especially at this time when there is a need for social distance because of the pandemic. This project proposes to develop a prototype with the use of IoT technologies and telehealth and eHealth methods applicable to remote patient care, for monitoring the vital signs of patients in teleconsultation at the University Hospital of the Federal University of Piauí, HU-UFPI, from prototypes developed by the researcher himself.
