The Fourth Industrial Revolution, characterized by the convergence of disruptive technologies, is reshaping the global landscape and labor market demands. In this context, mastering foreign languages becomes essential for individual and professional success. However, for many adults, achieving fluency in a foreign language remains a significant challenge, particularly in terms of effective and natural communication. This study proposes a teaching methodology that combines active and natural learning approaches, aimed at adults who struggle with effective communication and comprehension of native and non-native speakers. This audience requires flexible schedules, goal-oriented learning, and methods that allow for practical progress measurement, adapting to varied contexts and individual needs. The characteristics of this audience are often overlooked by traditional methodologies and online courses, which focus on rigid grammatical elements or content without a clear approach, making learning challenging. Utilizing Design Thinking tools to map specific needs and explore different solution possibilities, the methodology employs artificial intelligence to personalize teaching, providing an accessible educational tool focused on student autonomy. This approach aims to increase the chances of achieving desired fluency, enabling students to reach personal and professional goals, and expanding access to educational and professional opportunities. The methodology transcends traditional barriers, using technology to democratize access to quality knowledge and act as a transformative agent in society.
