Efficiency in the Brazilian Electoral Judiciary
Efficiency – Brazilian Electoral Courts– DEA.
This study aims to develop an efficiency index for the Electoral Courts of Justice in Brazil in order to contribute to the debate on the efficiency of spending in the public sector and to identify the most efficient and inefficient courts in Brazil, through a descriptive work in terms of objectives and procedures, it is typified as a Case Study. The quantitative research methodology used is the Dynamic Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method to analyze data taken from the Justice in Numbers reports that are published annually by the National Council of Justice, from which data from the years 2011 to 2021 were collected from the 27 Brazilian state electoral courts.
