In recent years, project management has emerged as a form of management essential for the survival of organizations. Project management as a flexible structure to support business strategy allows organizations to achieve change and respond to the needs of a market characterized by dynamism, fierce competition and increasingly sophisticated, informed and demanding clients. This context of constant changes, uncertainty and limited resources is part of the daily life of organizations such as business incubators, precisely because their target clients are enterprises that have a high degree of technological innovation in their products and services, strong barriers to market entry, rapid technological obsolescence and strong competitive pressures. Giving the aforementioned, the present research aims to analyze how two incubators of technology-based companies of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, manage projects in the light of its incubation process. For an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon under study, the research will adopt a qualitative approach and a case study strategy. In order to fulfill the methodological objective, data will be collected through several sources: documents, application of a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with the managers of two business incubators.
