Photovoltaic Generation Study Proposal Using Bifacial Modules.
Photovoltaic solar generation, Bifacial modules, Power losses.
Today's society needs constant and uninterrupted access to electricity, given that most of the goods and supplies currently available depend on electricity for its operation or processing. In view of this need, it is necessary to diversify the available energy sources, especially those considered renewable, in addition to a greater level of decentralization of the generating sources.
In this context, the Ministry of Mines and Energy - MME, has been conducting new energy auctions for the photovoltaic matrix since 2014, through the Energy Research Company - EPE, for the entry into operation of photovoltaic plants from four years after the project. having been a winner in these energy auctions, with a twenty-year generation contract. Thus, the need for research and development of photovoltaic generation projects is evident.
Thus, the technology that has been gaining space in the current market are bifacial modules, that is, modules that have the potential to generate more energy, as they can absorb radiation on both sides of their surface. These modules are expected to reach 40% of its market in 2028. Even so, more studies are needed to increase the penetration of this technology in the market.
