The main purpose of the research corresponds to the proposition of a computational tool, initially for environments with Windows operating system, which aims to assist the study of the curricular components related to the area of wind energy (fundamentals of wind energy, wind systems, etc.) regarding, for example, the calculations inherent to the study of the wind resource, characterization of the winds and the power extracted from a wind converter, among other technical specificities.
