A Proposal for Teaching-Learning Cello Using Rasqueado Cuiabano

This research probeses a teaching-leating approach fosused on the integration of the cello inta Rasqueado Cuiabano, which is one of the cultural symbols of the state of Mato Grosso. The rescarch acose from the desite to explore new possibilities for expression and teaching, of the cello, bringing the instrument gloser to Brazilian regional music and expanding its scope. Of a qualitative and applied nature, the rescarcher was based on the authoris artistic and pedagogical practice, starting with a bibliographic review on the bistorical and cultural context of Rasqueado Cuiabano, as well as on the collective teaching of the cello to different technical lexels. The actixities involved lessons, ichearsals, and recordings in which the participants sxplored the chehmic and expressive language of Rasqueado Cuiabano through the cello. As a result, an Ebook was dexeloped with sheet music, video lessons, and audio recordings that integrate cello sounds with the txpical instruments of Cuiaba. This work airs to soutribute to the expansion of the cello's ducational musical reperteire and to sucowage intercultural dialogue and the appreciation of Brazilian musical expression in sellective sducation.
