BASIC FUNDAMENTALS FOR CELLISTS TO TEACH CLASSES ON LOW-GRADE STRINGS: CELLO AND DOUBLE BASS.
Violoncello; Double Bass; Group Teaching; Social Projects
This dissertation seeks to investigate the basic foundations for teaching low fretted strings in collective music teaching projects, considering the multiple contexts of music teaching. The main problem to be addressed is how these fundamentals can be efficiently applied in collective classes, such as those carried out in projects such as Projeto Guri, in the state of São Paulo. The objectives include: identifying theoretical references on the topic, reflecting on the author's teaching practice in Projeto Guri, conducting interviews with other teachers in the area and, finally, systematizing the data obtained to identify fundamental categories for continuous music teaching. The methodology adopted is qualitative, descriptive and analytical, using open interviews and a narrative logic for data analysis. The partial results point to the need for teachers to have access to solid foundations that guide the teaching of low plucked string instruments, in order to guarantee consistent and continuous learning.
