SUMMARY:

Research on the different areas of performance is increasingly present in the academic field. Along these lines, the present work aims to expose differrent approaches on how to work on the embouchure break region. This work will be based on a bibliographical survey comparing the main ideas exposed in traditional horn literature. Bringing different approaches on how to develop, work and apply the directions presented here. In addition to the aspects traditionally covered in relation to instrumental techique, will talk about mental aspects and physical health as a fundamental ontribution to the practice of the instrument.
