A INTERPRETATIVE ANALYSIS OF SIGNAL REPRESENTATION IN STRAVINSKY'S "FIREBIRD", UNDER THE OPINION OF TWO CHARACTERS: COMPOSER-CONDUCTOR. CONDUCTORINTERPRETER.
Interpretation. Conduction. Composer-Conductor. Conductor-Interpreter.
The research proposal is a discussion about a performance of two characters: Composer-Conductor and Conductor-Interpreter. Through a technical and observational analysis, it is sought to understand and / or distinguish gestural, and thus identify and argue from the data, their differences and similarities between the two visions. Observe how each gestural influence, or not, in the sonority, whether the composer is an "advantage" in the interpretation, and whether the conductor-interpreter can be compared with the composer. One of the expected application types is what is interpreted to perform a different example of the composer. Farberman (1997), Green (1987), Lago (2002), Scherchen (1989), Rudolf (1969) and Rocha (2004), we believe that we can construct a theoretical basis to address the issues that require each character and a theoretical and practical practice that each can expose in the musical interpretation. The analysis was performed through audios / videos, in which waves and waves were applied as parameters of analysis. This process uses as a free software tool the Sonic Visualiser to aid in the production of data through analysis of sound snippets. These data were related to the gestures of the two characters through the tool PatternCube, of the author Harold Farberman.
