AN INTERPRETIVE APPROACH AND A PREPARATION FOR PERFORMANCE THROUGH 1980 SONATA FOR VIOLIN ERNST MAHLE

This article is part of my research project to obtain the title of Master of Music at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, seeking to deepen the brazilian violin repertoire. This research presents the Ernst Mahle´s Sonata 1980 for violin an interpretative approach to work and a brief biography of the composer. By collecting data and interviews with own Mahle, we seek a greater understanding of his musical material, to support the concept and interpretative suggestions of this work, attempting to create a reflection on the contemporary repertoire of brazilian pieces for violin. Parallel to this, we will cover aspects of the preparation for performance in light of the approaches Don Greene.
