SUMMARY:

Home visits are one of the main activities carried out by Community Health Agents within the scope of Primary Care, and are fundamental for promoting comprehensive care and for the early identification of vulnerabilities in the territory. However, this practice has been progressively mischaracterized, becoming bureaucratic and disconnected from the principles of equity and the rational organization of work. This research aims to develop an educational technology in the form of a pocket manual, built in a participatory way with the Community Health Agents of a Family Health Unit located in the city of Natal/RN. The manual aims to support the planning and prioritization of home visits based on family risk criteria. This is a qualitative study, with a methodological approach centered on action research. Data will be collected through conversation circles, collaborative workshops and participatory validations. The analysis will be guided by the Content Analysis technique, with triangulation of sources. The final product will be practical and accessible material, validated by the professionals themselves, contributing to the qualification of the Community Health Agents work process and strengthening the Family Health Strategy.
