INCIDENCE OF MENTAL DISORDER AT UFRN: an Action Plan to support the formulation and implementation of mental health policy

This intervention project aims to develop an action plan to support the formulation and implementation of the mental health policy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte-UFRN, with the purpose of contributing to reducing the incidence of mental and behavioral disorders affected to the institution's employees. The methodological path comprises two phases: the first to diagnose the problem situation, a bibliographic survey was carried out on illness due to Mental and Behavioral Disorders, leave, workloads and working conditions. The second phase deals with the construction of the plan with the composition of a focus group with representatives of the health care coordinators and people management policy and of the research carried out with active employees, through a questionnaire considering those who had a history of illness due to mental disorders, in the career as an administrative technician in the positions of nursing assistant, nursing technician, nurse and administrative assistant, corresponding to the data for the period from 01/01/2018 to 12/31/2020. Analysis will also be made in the official documents in the Integrated System of Health Care of the Server-SIASS. he results are intended to present an action plan to contribute to the formulation and implementation of the mental health policy at UFRN.
