Federal Institute; Public sector; Project management; Visual management; LCC - Life Cycle Canvas.
Since the 1980s, several countries have promoted innumerable managerial reforms in the public sector - guiding it and bringing it closer to market practices. Emerged in this environment of great volatility and complexity of the public sector, good practices of project management have gained space and become key words in this process of reorganization and better attendance of public demands. The objective of this work is to prepare a proposal for the visual management of projects within the scope of IFRN/Santa Cruz Campus, in order to promote a better implementation and monitoring of its strategic projects, as set out in the Institutional Development Plan (PDI 2019-2026). Given its simplicity, flexibility and the benefits recognized in the literature, it was decided to use the Life Cycle Canvas (LCC) visual project management tool to elaborate this model. From the methodological point of view, this research is classified as applied, exploratory, descriptive, bibliographical, documentary and case study. For the purposes of data collection, interviews with the Servers will be conducted, as well as unsystematic observations, in order to detect the main difficulties and bottlenecks in the management of the IFRN's strategic projects, especially in the context of the Santa Cruz Campus. The collected information will be analyzed, basically, through documentary analysis and content analysis. Finally, we will present a visual management model of strategic projects for Campus Santa Cruz, based on the Life Cycle Canvas (LCC) tool, aiming at simplification, better control and effectiveness in the developed activities.
