INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT OF THE COMMUNICATION IN THE ESCOLA DE SAÚDE OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF RIO GRANDE DO NORTE

This project aims to evaluate the organizational communication process of the Escola de Saúde of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - ESUFRN, in the perspective of the integrated communication theory and analysis of social networks. Therefore, it is proposed to carry out a situational analysis of the communication in the ESUFRN based on an elaborated evaluation model that includes concepts and methodological procedures directed to the analysis of the organizational communication in a public university. It is also intended to know the perception of the servers of this school about the existing communication and their desires in relation to integrated communication. Based on these objectives, we intend to identify factors that limit and enhance an integrated organizational communication and propose guidelines for the elaboration of a Communication Management model. It is an exploratory-descriptive research derived from a practical concern about the integrated communication in a public institution of education, with the purpose of application in its circumstantial reality and, therefore, assumes an applied research approach. The case study will be used as research strategy and the survey, the documentary research and the interview as techniques of data collection. The data collected, depending on their concept, and will be analyzed through descriptive analysis with functionalist bias, basic descriptive statistical analysis and Social Network Analysis (ARS). After applying the evaluation model elaborated and the methodological procedures proposed in this dissertation project, it will be possible to answer the research problem and thus provide information that can be used to improve the organizational communication processes of the Escola de Saúde of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte.
