NOTABLE POINTS OF A TRIANGLE AND GEOMETRY OF THE ENEM TESTS WITH GEOGEBRA
Notable points, Geometry in the ENEM exams, Technology in education, High school.
This study focuses on the construction and analysis of the notable points of a triangle— centroid, incenter, circumcenter, and orthocenter—using GeoGebra Classic as a tool to enhance intuitive learning. Additionally, it explores the resolution of questions from the Brazilian National High School Exam (Enem) through the software, aiming to improve problem comprehension via visual approaches rather than complex calculations. The research also discusses the importance of integrating digital technologies into basic education, as outlined in the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), and emphasizes the teacher’s role in incorporating these tools into the teaching and learning process. GeoGebra is presented as a valuable resource for exploring mathematical concepts such as congruence, similarity, and triangle properties, promoting more meaningful and accessible learning. The overarching goal is to investigate how technology can enhance the understanding of mathematical concepts, fostering a more dynamic, visual, and engaging approach to mathematics education.
