SELF-RESEARCHER: TRANS/FORMATION AND RITUALISTIC CREATION IN THE PERFORMING ARTS
Ritual Theater; Play Of Poetic Construction; Mythodology In Art; Experience; Female Archetypes.
The in-process research entitled Self-Researcher: Trans/Formation and Ritualistic Creation in the Performing Arts walks through life and art, ancestry and culture, investigated by the author. As part of this investigation, an approach is made with the Ritual Theater (HADERCHPEK, 2020), with the Play of Poetic Construction (MACHADO, 2017) and Mythodology in Art (LYRA, 2009). The teaching artist traces a story with reports of her own experiences hers in the field of the arts and in the root experience of family origin, bringing to light the crossings provoked over her life in a dominantly patriarchal universe. Such reports allow a female rescue and promote a meeting of the researcher with herself in her body-house-memory that is supported by the mythology of the Triple Goddess and her faces. From the tensions born from the encounter of the body with the existing structures and the common situations that make up being a woman, artist and teacher, a continuous reflection of the researcher about her own being erupts. This reflection allows the researcher to understand the plots that make up her life and show the dialogue with the collective and practices that go through her.
