The more regional, the more universal I am: Cordel Literature as a poetic pattern for the scenic construction.

This work has been the result of an interventional research in the Graduate Program in Performing Arts / UFRN, of qualitative character, aiming at the need for a registry of collaborative value for researchers interested in working with non-theatrical texts, in this case literature Of cordel used for the construction of the theatrical scene. This study aims to understand the Cordel leaflet as a poetic matrix for the construction of the scene. The object of our research is the popular poetry of the cordelista and historian Antônio Francisco, reporting the process of transforming leaflet of cordéis into plays. As an object of research, we will base the assembly of the show 'Dois Cabras in a Cordel Só', 2010, and 'Oscabra, 2017, Teatro Ciamargem, where we use the strings of the book by the poet Antonio Francisco:' Ten Cords in a Cordel Só ' 2002.
