Paths of the poetic creation of a female diretor-dramatist: investigations based on the production of the play Maurício
female director-dramatist; poetic creation; collaborative process; creation procedures; group theater.
This participatory-research of an experiential character is born from an artistic practice that has been developed for four years by a female artist-researcher who conceives scenic montages as a director-dramatist, transposing authorial literature to dramaturgy and this one to staging. This research has been using as a case study the play Maurício, by Grupo Interferencias de Teatro, whose collaborative process of scenic investigation has been going on since 2018. Using the poetics of Russian director Vsévolod Meyerhold as a reference, as much for this director to approach an anti-illusionist perspective of the scene as for him to assume the role of pedagogue-director in his processes, something that is close to the practice of the female director-dramatist in this research, the aim of this investigation is to understand how the process of poetic creation of a director-dramatist takes place, approaching the procedures adopted by her, the poetics of creation that cross hers, identifying if there are pedagogical principles in her practice and what is her place as a woman in theatrical work. At the end of this research, there is a record of a work developed in a collaborative way by a female director-dramatist in a young and independent group from Potiguar theater.
